सनातन और इस्लाम का अनूठा रिश्ता “हजरत इमाम हुसैन” और “हुसैनी ब्राह्मण”

कर्बला की जंग सिर्फ इस्लाम ही नहीं बल्कि पूरी दुनिया के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण घटना है, जो सच, न्याय और सिद्धांत के सर्वोच्च बलिदान को दर्शाती है। पूरी दुनिया इस्लाम में इमाम हुसैन इब्ने अली से वाकिफ है, जिन्होंने पैगंबर मोहम्मद साहब के सिद्धांतों और मूल्यों को बरकरार रखने के लिए अपना सब कुछ न्योछावर कर दिया और उनकी शहादत न सिर्फ इस्लाम बल्कि पूरी इंसानियत के लिए थी ।
और आप और हम जैसे लोग ना सिर्फ हिंदू और मुसलमान बल्कि सभी को सम्मान, सदभाव और साथ रखने की बात करते हैं। मेरी नज़र में सनातन और इस्लाम का रिश्ता जितना खूबसूरत है मुझे नहीं लगता दुनिया में आप दूसरी और कोई मिसाल दे सकते इसके सामने। क्योंकि जब दोनों धर्म के साथ आते त्योहार और साझा संस्कृति को मानने वाले ये खूबसूरत लोग एक साथ होते है फिर आप कैसे कोई दूसरी बात कर सकते है
लेकिन यह दो धर्मों का रिश्ता कोई आज का नहीं, बल्कि खुद हजरत इमाम हुसैन के वक्त से है, जहाँ कर्बला की जंग में राहिब दत्त साहब के साथियों और बेटों ने इमाम हुसैन का साथ दिया था , जो बाद में “हुसैनी ब्राह्मण” कहलाए।"
जैसा कि नाम से जाहिर है, हुसैनी ब्राह्मण, जिनका गहरा नाता इमाम हुसैन से था। यह एक अनूठा समुदाय है जो सनातन और इस्लाम के प्रति अपनी गहरी श्रद्धा रखता है। जब इमाम हुसैन और उनके साथियों को यजीद की फौज ने कर्बला में घेर लिया था, तब एक ब्राह्मण योद्धा राहिब दत्त अपने बेटों के साथ इमाम हुसैन के साथ खड़े हुए और राहिब दत्त ने इमाम हुसैन के साथ बड़ी दिलेरी और बहादुरी के साथ लड़ाई लड़ी ।
इस जंग के बाद उन्हें हुसैनी ब्राह्मण कहा जाने लगा। इमाम हुसैन और हुसैनी ब्राह्मण का रिश्ता धर्म, सरहद, समुदाय इन सबसे ऊपर है। हुसैनी ब्राह्मण सनातन का पालन करते हुए इस्लाम और इमाम हुसैन और कर्बला के शहीदों के लिए अपनी गहरी श्रद्धा और सम्मान रखते हैं। मुहर्रम के महीने में इमाम हुसैन के बलिदान को याद करते हुए शोक मनाते हैं, मजलिस में हिस्सा लेते हैं।
इंसानियत का यह एक ऐसा अनूठा रिश्ता है, जो धर्मों की सीमाओं से परे है और आज के दौर में जब समाज को धर्म के नाम पर बांटने की कोशिशें हो रही हैं, तब यह रिश्ता और भी प्रासंगिक हो जाता है। यह उस गहरे जुड़ाव की कहानी है जो सदियों पहले कर्बला की भूमि पर स्थापित हुआ था। इमाम हुसैन, पैगंबर मुहम्मद साहब के नवासे, ने जब अन्याय और अत्याचार के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई, तो उनके साथ केवल उनके साथी मुसलमान ही नहीं थे। उनके साथ एक महान ब्राह्मण योद्धा राहिब दत्त भी खड़े थे। राहिब दत्त ने अपने सात बेटों के साथ मिलकर इमाम हुसैन के लिए नंगी तलवारों के सामने भी इंसानियत का दामन नहीं छोड़ा। उनके वंशज हुसैनी ब्राह्मण कहलाए। यह रिश्ता सिर्फ इतिहास का हिस्सा बनकर नहीं रह गया है, बल्कि आज भी जीवंत है। प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता और निर्माता सुनील दत्त साहब स्वयं एक हुसैनी ब्राह्मण थे। वे गर्व से अपनी इस पहचान को दुनिया के सामने रखते थे और अपने पूर्वजों की उस गौरवशाली परंपरा पर गर्व करते थे, जिन्होंने इंसानियत के लिए इमाम हुसैन के साथ अपनी जान न्योछावर कर दी थी। सुनील दत्त जैसे व्यक्तित्वों ने यह साबित किया कि धार्मिक आस्थाएँ व्यक्तिगत हो सकती हैं, लेकिन इंसानियत का रिश्ता सार्वभौमिक होता है। आज भी हुसैनी ब्राह्मण समुदाय सनातन धर्म का पालन करते हुए भी इमाम हुसैन और कर्बला के शहीदों के प्रति गहरी श्रद्धा रखता है। मुहर्रम के महीने में वे शोक मनाते हैं और मजलिसों में हिस्सा लेते हैं, जो धार्मिक सद्भाव का एक बेहतरीन उदाहरण है।
यह 'अनूठा रिश्ता' हमें सिखाता है कि सत्य, न्याय और सिद्धांत के लिए किया गया बलिदान किसी एक धर्म या समुदाय तक सीमित नहीं होता। यह पूरी इंसानियत की विरासत है। ऐसे समय में जब राजनीतिक स्वार्थों के लिए धर्म के नाम पर विभाजन पैदा किया जा रहा है, हुसैनी ब्राह्मणों का यह इतिहास हमें याद दिलाता है कि असली ताक़त सद्भाव, सम्मान और एक-दूसरे के साथ खड़े रहने में है।
यूं तो धार्मिक, सामाजिक आस्था व्यक्तिगत होती है, लेकिन यह अनूठा उदाहरण पूरी इंसानियत के लिए है, जहाँ आज अगर दो (धर्मों के लोग) साथ बैठ जाएँ तो राजनीतिक मेंढक धर्मांतरण का जिन्न निकाल लेते हैं। वहीं राहिब दत्त जैसे महान शख्सियत ने नंगी तलवारों के सामने भी इंसानियत का दामन नहीं छोड़ा। और अगर आपको लगता है कि यह उस वक्त की बात थी सिर्फ और कर्बला की जंग के बाद हुसैनी ब्राह्मण सिर्फ इतिहास का हिस्सा ही बनकर रह गए, तो उनका वर्तमान भी आपको जानना बेहद जरूरी है। प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता, निर्देशक, निर्माता सुनील दत्त साहब का परिवार भी हुसैनी ब्राह्मण है। दत्त साहब फख्र के साथ खुद की हुसैनी ब्राह्मण की पहचान को दुनिया के सामने रखते थे और उनके पूर्वजों की गौरवशाली परंपरा पर गर्व करते थे । और अगर नामों की बात की जाए तो उनमें साबिर दत्त उर्दू के अदब के लेखक, जिनका संबंध हुसैनी ब्राह्मण समाज से है। नंदकिशोर विक्रम साहब भी उर्दू के शायर हुए, जो हुसैनी ब्राह्मण थे।"

The battle of Karbala is an important event not only for Islam but for the whole world, which shows the supreme sacrifice of truth, justice and principle. The whole world is aware of Imam Hussain Ibn Ali in Islam, who sacrificed everything to maintain the principles and values of Prophet Muhammad and his martyrdom was not only for Islam but for the whole of humanity.
And people like you and us talk about respecting, harmony and keeping everyone together, not just Hindus and Muslims. In my view, the relationship between Sanatan and Islam is so beautiful that I don't think you can give any other example in the world in front of it. Because when these beautiful people who believe in festivals and common culture of both religions come together, then how can you talk about anything else
But this relationship between the two religions is not of today, but from the time of Hazrat Imam Hussain himself, where in the battle of Karbala, the companions and sons of Rahib Dutt Sahab supported Imam Hussain, who later came to be known as "Hussaini Brahmins".
As the name suggests, Hussaini Brahmins, who had a deep relation with Imam Hussain. This is a unique community which has deep respect for Sanatan and Islam. When Imam Hussain and his companions were surrounded by Yazid's army in Karbala, then a Brahmin warrior Rahib Dutt stood with Imam Hussain along with his sons and Rahib Dutt fought with Imam Hussain with great courage and bravery.
After this war, he came to be known as Hussaini Brahmin. The relationship between Imam Hussain and Hussaini Brahmin is above religion, border, community. Hussaini Brahmins, while following Sanatan, supported Islam and Imam Hussain and the battle of Karbala. They have deep respect and reverence for the martyrs. In the month of Muharram, they mourn the sacrifice of Imam Hussain and participate in the Majlis.
This is a unique relationship of humanity, which is beyond the boundaries of religions and in today's era when attempts are being made to divide the society in the name of religion, this relationship becomes even more relevant. This is the story of that deep bond which was established centuries ago on the land of Karbala. When Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, raised his voice against injustice and oppression, not only his fellow Muslims were with him. A great Brahmin warrior Rahib Dutt was also standing with him. Rahib Dutt, along with his seven sons, did not abandon humanity even in the face of naked swords for Imam Hussain. His descendants were called Hussaini Brahmins. This relationship has not just become a part of history, but is still alive today. Famous actor and producer Sunil Dutt sahab himself was a Hussaini Brahmin. He proudly presented this identity to the world and was proud of the glorious tradition of his ancestors. Who sacrificed their lives with Imam Hussain for humanity. Personalities like Sunil Dutt proved that religious beliefs can be personal, but the relationship of humanity is universal. Even today, the Hussaini Brahmin community, while following Sanatan Dharma, has deep respect for Imam Hussain and the martyrs of Karbala. In the month of Muharram, they mourn and participate in Majlises, which is a great example of religious harmony.
This 'unique relationship' teaches us that the sacrifice made for truth, justice and principle is not limited to any one religion or community. It is the heritage of the entire humanity. At a time when division is being created in the name of religion for political interests, this history of Hussaini Brahmins reminds us that the real strength lies in harmony, respect and standing with each other.
Though religious, social faith is personal, but this unique example is for the entire humanity, where today if two (people of religions) sit together, then the political frog of conversion They take out the jinn. Whereas a great personality like Rahib Dutt did not leave humanity even in front of naked swords. And if you think that this was just a thing of that time and after the battle of Karbala, Hussaini Brahmins became just a part of history, then it is very important for you to know their present as well. The family of famous actor, director, producer Sunil Dutt sahab is also Hussaini Brahmin. Dutt sahab proudly presented his identity as a Hussaini Brahmin to the world and was proud of the glorious tradition of his ancestors. And if we talk about names, then Sabir Dutt is a writer of Urdu literature, who belongs to the Hussaini Brahmin community. Nandkishore Vikram sahab was also an Urdu poet, who was a Hussaini Brahmin.
